FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES

Being a charitable organization we rely on donations from well-wishers (Donation of any kind is acceptable) we also organize fundraising events such as:

Annual Charity Walk

This event is held annually usually in the month of September. We involve schools both primary and secondary, learning institution, sponsorships from companies and individuals.

Annual Charity Golf

Held once a year, around the month of March. The event involves sponsorship from companies, golfers (who participate in the tournament) and individuals.

Friend of Nyeri hospice

You can be a friend of Nyeri Hospice for as little as 1000/= (individual member) or 5000/= (corporate Member) being an annual subscription. You can send your contribution payable to Nyeri Hospice with your contacts i.e. name, address, email and telephone number. All donations are receipted and receipts sent to the individual.

We have been holding these events (charity walk & Golf) since the hospice started in 1995.

ACHIEVEMENTS

With the Help of donors and the local community, we are now able to take care of both cancer and HIV / AIDS patients and the number is increasing. We have managed to purchase a permanent premise which is on a ¾ acre plot & to purchase two vehicles, a small van for administration and fundraising and a four wheel double cabin pick up for home based care.
